Hello all. The weather this season has been far less than cooperative. Unfortunately, we have to reschedule tryouts until next Monday. We will be using the same time frames.
Please help spread the word on your social media accounts and/or to known acquaintances with players trying out. I would greatly appreciate it.

Please register for tryouts for the Fall 2019 Chariho Competitive Soccer Season.
You must register for tryouts to be considered for the team.

June 17th 5:00-6:00pm Ninigret Park U8, U9, U10 (birth years: 2012, 2011, 2010)
June 17th 6:15-7:30pm Ninigret Park U11,U12,U13, U14, U15 (birth years: 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, 2005)
June 18th 5:00-6:00pm Ninigret Park U8, U9, U10 (birth years: 2012, 2011, 2010)

We are always looking for coaches, parental involvement (volunteers) and board members. We encourage you to contact us if you are interested or attend our monthly meetings the first Thursday of every month.

July 22-25, 2019
For young female players in Southern Rhode. The half-day camp, for players 5-8 years old, covers foundational skills and utilizes small-sided games as a teaching platform. The full-day camp is offered to players, ages 9-14. This camp addresses more advanced techniques, as well as tactical situations in game settings. Both camps will have lots of fun and games for the players.
*Introduction to goalkeeping will be offered.
July 26-28, 2019
Recommended for female high school players who truly want to experience a Division I training environment. The Elite Residential Camp not only covers the technical and tactical requirements of Division I soccer, but also offers an in-depth look at the roles of strength and conditioning, nutrition, and recovery in the collegiate environment.
*Includes specialized goalkeeper instruction.
July 29- August 2, 2019
For female high school players looking for an edge going into the season. The URI Women’s Soccer Preseason High School Camp offers a unique, high-level training environment. From position-specific techniques to tactical-functional activities, as well as match-ready fitness training, this camp covers it all!

- Pass an online test

The Chariho U4-U6 Soccer Academy is now open to players born 2013-2016!
This all-new program, designed by URI Women’s Soccer Assistant Davis Fox, focuses on familiarity and comfort with a soccer ball within a fun learning environment.
Players under 4 years old will learn in an exciting, creative environment with one soccer ball per player to maximize time spent on the ball.
Player 4-6 years old will learn the fundamentals of dribbling, passing, and spacing through small-sided games. Each Academy graduate will take home a t-shirt and their very own soccer ball!
About Coach Davis:
Coach Davis is a lifelong lover of the game. He has coached youth soccer for nearly a decade and has two years of experience coaching collegiately. He is also the Junior Academy Director for NEFC Southeast, working with players all across Rhode Island and Southeastern Mass. He specialized in athletic performance and youth development and brings the energy of ten coaches his size to every session!
When: Saturday mornings 9:00-11:00

ABOUT MADDIE POTTS
A kind, compassionate competitor and friend to so many on and off the field, seventeen-year old Maddie Potts suffered a brain aneurysm on September 23, 2017 as she lined up to take a free kick. Maddie died at the hospital the next day. Maddie was a senior, a captain, and soccer and lacrosse player at Chariho High School. Cherishing her indomitable, positive spirit, her family identifies with Positive Coaching Alliance’s message and mission to help develop Better Athletes, Better People through sports done right.
